You read that right, I done f***ed up. Upon the release of John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum, I took it upon myself, after being berated by friends and family, to finally sit down and watch John Wick 1&2 before seeing Chaoter 3.
For those of you who haven’t seen these, YOU ARE MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. They are phenomenal! Sleek, stylish, well choreographed, eye candy of action movies with a higher bodycount than the Friday the 13th and Halloween franchises COMBINED (I know, I checked). Kingsman style, with The Raid grit and choreography.
I’d like to issue a formal apology to all I have doubted, and I strongly implore any fans of action to see these immediately (1&2 clock in at just over 3.5 hours so they’re really easy to burn through).
Keanu Reeves is out here making Neo look like a choirboy, and I can’t thank the film heavens enough for gracing humanity with such a perfect trilogy of mindless action thrillers (I mean that in a good way).
