This week Marvel and Disney decided to re-release Avengers: Endgame with some additional footage and post credit scenes, which I can only assume was an attempt to pull closer to Avatar as the highest grossing movie of all time. But is it worth rewatching for those extras?
The Verdict:
In short, no. Keep in mind that the film itself has not been altered. It is not an extended version with any addition scenes or footage included in the actual movie. The additional extras included were a Stan Lee cameo tribute, a (unfinished) Hulk deleted scene, and a little preview of Spider-Man: Far From Home, all post credits. While the Stan Lee tribute is truly awesome, and the Spider-Man clip was a nice little teaser, the roughly 10min of extras just doesn’t seem worth the long runtime of Avengers: Endgame or the price of admission. You may want to hold off until the extras are included on the BluRay/DVD.
