My 1-10 Movie Rating System

In short, all of my scores are completely arbitrary and really have no meaning, other than a vague gauge of the quality of a movie. But below is a little guide.

– I will never score a zero, baseline of one for existing.

– Literally as bad as a movie can be. Exists.

– Horrible, absolutely horrible and probably barely watchable.

– Bad, but not as bad as it could be.

– Below expectations, still not good.

– Meh, it’s alright. It doesn’t do anything egregious, but nothing particularly good.

– Better than just okay.

– Good. Worth going out of your way to watch.

– Really Good – Getting into the must see arena

– Excellent, Go see it. Starting to think Oscars.

– (Borderline) Perfect movie.
